Manchester United team news
United will be without Matthijs de Ligt, Manuel Ugarte, Carlos Baleba, Amad Diallo and Tom Heaton. De Ligt is recovering from a back problem, while Ugarte and Baleba are sidelined by knee and ankle injuries respectively.
Marcus Rashford returned to training after being withdrawn with a minor muscular issue against Everton and is in contention, although Carrick may avoid risking him ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby. Luke Shaw missed Wednesday’s open training session, but Carrick explained that it was a planned recovery day rather than a new injury.
Carrick is expected to rotate his side, with Leny Yoro, Noussair Mazraoui, Andrey Santos and Benjamin Šeško all pushing to start. Šeško scored from the bench against Everton and could be handed his first start of the season, while Kobbie Mainoo should return in central midfield.

Sabah have reported no injuries or suspensions and should have a full squad available for their historic Champions League debut.
Joy-Lance Mickels has been their outstanding attacking performer this season, recording eight goals and one assist in 11 appearances. Veljko Simić has contributed seven goals and one assist, while Jamaican international Kaheem Parris is expected to provide additional pace on the flank.
Stas Pokatilov should start in goal behind a back four featuring Steve Solvet, Rahman Dashdamirov, Tymoteusz Puchacz and Akim Zedadka. Umarali Rakhmonaliev, Aleksey Isayev and Ivan Lepinjica are expected to form a compact midfield unit.
