Team news

Fenerbahçe will be without midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, who must serve a UEFA suspension stemming from incidents after the qualifying victory over Lyon. Mason Greenwood’s one-match punishment was suspended subject to a probationary period, leaving him eligible to play. Jayden Oosterwolde is sidelined through injury, while Marco Asensio has also been ruled out by Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini after recently missing matches with a physical problem. İsmail Yüksek is expected to replace Guendouzi alongside N’Golo Kanté in midfield.

Roma have travelled with an otherwise healthy squad. Gasperini confirmed that Paulo Dybala and the rest of the first-team group are available, with Lorenzo Pellegrini the only absentee as he continues working toward full fitness. The Roma coach could retain the side that recently defeated Atalanta, although Nahuel Molina is an alternative to teenager Emanuele Lulli on the right flank.

Predicted line-ups

Fenerbahçe – 4-2-3-1: Ederson; Mert Müldür, Milan Škriniar, Nathan Aké, Archie Brown; İsmail Yüksek, N’Golo Kanté; Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Mason Greenwood, Oğuz Aydın; Vedat Muriqi.

AS Roma – 3-4-2-1: Mile Svilar; Gianluca Mancini, Evan Ndicka, Mario Hermoso; Emanuele Lulli, Manu Koné, Bryan Cristante, Wesley; Paulo Dybala, Rodrigo Mora; Donyell Malen.
