Como team news
Fàbregas has no new injury or suspension concerns and should have virtually his entire registered Champions League squad available. Long-term absentee Jayden Addai remains sidelined, but his absence should not significantly alter the expected starting side.
Tasos Douvikas, who scored 14 Serie A goals last season and has already added two this term, is expected to continue at centre-forward. New signing Moise Kean made his debut from the bench against Genoa and should initially remain among the substitutes.
Nico Paz will be Como’s main creative presence, supported by Assane Diao and Martin Baturina. Máximo Perrone is expected to partner Lucas Da Cunha in midfield, while summer arrival Yan Couto should start at right-back.
RB Leipzig team news
Christoph Baumgartner and Rocco Reitz are ruled out with hamstring injuries. However, Leipzig received several boosts during their final preparations: Brajan Gruda has recovered from an ankle problem, Castello Lukeba has returned to training after a muscular issue and Rômulo is once again an option following a knee-tendon problem.
Lukeba is expected to return alongside captain Willi Orbán in central defence. Gruda could also start in midfield after completing the final training session, although Ezechiel Banzuzi provides an alternative if Demichelis decides not to risk him.
Christopher Nkunku is in contention to lead the attack following his return to Leipzig, with Johan Bakayoko and Antonio Nusa likely to provide the width. Rômulo may be introduced from the bench rather than being handed his first start of the campaign.
