Beşiktaş secured the first-leg victory despite playing the final 19 minutes with 10 men following Kassoum Ouattara’s dismissal. Kılıçsoy replaced Václav Černý in the 76th minute and struck the decisive goal only four minutes later.

The result continued the Black Eagles’ perfect defensive record in this season’s European qualifiers. Vincenzo Italiano’s team have won all three matches without conceding, having eliminated Midtjylland 3-0 on aggregate in the previous round.

Hradec will nevertheless believe that the tie remains recoverable. The Czech team produced nine shots on target and created four major chances in the opening leg, but Beşiktaş goalkeeper Alexander Nübel made eight saves.

David Horejš’s side responded to that disappointment with a 2-1 domestic victory over Baník Ostrava, with Tom Slončík scoring both goals. Hradec now have seven points from their opening three Czech First League fixtures.

Beşiktaş have reported no fresh injuries following the first leg, but Kassoum Ouattara is suspended after receiving two yellow cards in Czechia.

Kılıçsoy is pushing for a starting position after scoring the winning goal as a substitute. He could replace either Černý or İlhan Fakılı in the attacking line, although Italiano may prefer to retain most of the team that earned the first-leg advantage.

Wilfred Ndidi is also in contention after coming off the bench to replace Orkun Kökçü last week. Salih Özcan is another option for the holding-midfield position.

Hradec Králové have significantly more availability problems. Tomáš Wiesner and Jakub Kučera remain sidelined with knee injuries, while Tomáš Petrášek is unavailable because of a calf problem.

Adam Binar, Viktor Zentrich and Juraj Chvátal are also expected to miss the match. Adam Vlkanova remains doubtful as he recovers from illness.

Slončík should retain his place following his two-goal performance against Baník Ostrava, with Mick van Buren and Ondřej Mihálik expected to complete Hradec’s attacking unit.
