Seven individual Olympic champions from Paris 2024 will headline the Bauhaus Galan in the historic Olympic Stadium for the sixth leg of the Wanda Diamond League on Sunday, June 15. Among the many anticipated highlights are the men’s pole vault with Armand Duplantis, the men’s 400 metres hurdles showdown between Karsten Warholm, Rai Benjamin and Alison Dos Santos, and the women’s long jump clash featuring Tara Davis-Woodhall, Malaika Mihambo and Larissa Iapichino. Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred is also set to race, while sprint legend Usain Bolt will attend as a special guest, marking his first European tour appearance since retiring in 2017.

Men’s Pole Vault:

Armand "Mondo" Duplantis will renew his rivalry with Emmanouil "Manolo" Karalis. The two have met 32 times throughout their careers but never before at the Bauhaus Galan. Their first encounter dates back to the World U18 Championships in Cali 2015, where Duplantis won gold and Karalis took bronze.

Duplantis has been dominant in Stockholm, collecting five victories: 6.01m (2020), 6.02m (2021), 6.16m (2022), 6.05m (2023), and 6.00m (2024). He set his 11th world record (6.27m) in Clermont Ferrand this February and claimed the world indoor title in Nanjing with 6.15m. His 2025 Diamond League season started with three straight wins: 5.92m (Xiamen), 6.11m (Keqiao), and 6.15m (Oslo).

Karalis had a breakthrough 2024 season, clearing 6.00m at the Diamond League in Chorzow. In 2025, he vaulted over six meters five times, set a personal best of 6.05m in Nanjing, and recently cleared 6.01m in Keqiao. He placed second in Oslo with 5.82m.
