The University of North Alabama is the host institution of the 2022 NCAA DI Cross Country South Regional. The event occurs at the John Hunt Cross Country Course in Huntsville, Alabama, on Friday, November 11.

The Women's 6km race is scheduled to start at 8:30 AM a.m. CT (GMT -6), followed by men's 10km race at 9:30 CT. The top two teams and the first four finishers in the race not associated with those two teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, held November 19 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
