Erik Felipe Smashes South American 100m Record with 9.93 at Brazilian Championships

The opening day of the Troféu Brasil 2025 (Brazilian Athletics Champiosnhips) in Sao Paulo set the tone with world-class performances on both the track and the road.
Erik Felipe made history in the men’s 100m, clocking 9.93 to break the South American record and become the continent’s fastest man ever.
He shattered the previous record of 9.96 seconds, previously shared by Felipe Bardi and Ronal Longa.
