Course Map - La Cursa de El Corte Ingles

The course for the La Cursa de El Corte Ingles offers runners a fast and scenic tour through the heart of Barcelona. The approximately 10-kilometer route starts on Avenida Diagonal in front of El Corte Inglés and winds through many of the city’s most iconic streets and landmarks before finishing at Plaça Catalunya.
Runners begin with a wide downhill section along Diagonal before moving onto the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, passing modernist architecture and some of Barcelona’s best-known shopping districts. The course then continues through Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and Passeig de Sant Joan, a newly added section designed to improve runner flow and create a smoother approach toward the finish.
One of the highlights of the race is the stretch near the Arc de Triomf, where spectators traditionally gather in large numbers to cheer on participants. The final kilometers guide runners back toward the busy city center, culminating with an energetic finish at Plaça Catalunya.
The layout is known for being accessible and enjoyable for both competitive runners and recreational participants, featuring mostly wide avenues, gentle gradients, and an electric atmosphere throughout the city.
