World Indoor Champs Multi Event Athletes

The IAAF announced today the 8 invited athletes in men's heptathlon and women's pentathlon that will compete at theWorld Indoor championships in Sopot, Polnad (March 7-8).

In the combined events, the IAAF invites athletes to world indoor championships, who won world Combined Events Challenge in 2013. Also, the top three athletes on last year’s outdoor world season lists, and the top three athletes on this year’s indoor world season lists, plus one wild card.

The world indoor and outdoor record holder, Ashton Eaton, earlier announced that he is eying to break his heptathlon world record of 6645 points in Sopot.
