Isinbayeva to End Career After Worlds

World record holder and two-time Olympic champion in pole vault Yelena Isinbayeva have decided to end her career after next month's athletics world championships in Moscow.

Isinbayeva has set world indoor and outdoor records of total of 28 times. Her most recent was indoors in Stockholm in February. Isinbayeva won the Olympics in 2004 and 2008 and took bronze last year in London.

Isinbayeva told media on  Tuesday that "my career will finish 100 percent at the world championships," which will be August 10-18 at Moscow's Luzhniki stadium.

She had said after the London Olympics that she hoped to compete in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
