World Athletics Relays Championships 2024 Final Entry Lists Published

The World Athletics Relays Bahamas 2024 will feature 893 athletes from 54 countries in Nassau on 4-5 May. There will be 32 men's and 30 women's teams in the 4x100m, with 32 men's, 27 women's, and 30 mixed teams in the 4x400m.

The men's 4x100m includes notable runners like Noah Lyles from the USA and Marcell Jacobs from Italy. For the women's 4x100m, the USA's squad features four members of last year's world champion team, including Gabby Thomas. Teams from Jamaica and Great Britain & Northern Ireland are also strong contenders.

The women's 4x400m will see a fierce competition, with Femke Bol representing the Netherlands. In the men's 4x400m, the USA faces challenges from host nation The Bahamas, Belgium, and other strong teams. The mixed 4x400m promises excitement, with Shaunae Miller-Uibo joining The Bahamas' squad and world record-holders USA also participating.

The event is crucial for Olympic qualification, with the top two teams in each heat on the first day advancing to the final and securing spots in Paris 2024. Additional rounds on the second day will offer further Olympic qualifying opportunities. Final start lists will be published on Friday 3 May, with team line-ups confirmed closer to each race.
