Femke Bol of the Netherlands destroyed the women's 300m hurdles world record at Ostrava Golden Spike, a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold Level meeting, on Tuesday, May 31.
The 22-year-old Bol, who won the bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics in 2021 stormed to a new 300m World record with a sensational time of 36.86 seconds. Bol shaved off more than one second from the previous World record of 38.16 in 2013 by Czech Republic's two-time world champion Zuzana Hejnová.
