The 2026 edition of the will take place on Saturday, May 30, in Stockholm, with thousands of runners expected to line up for one of Europe’s most scenic and historic marathons. The race is already officially sold out, continuing the event’s strong international popularity.

The 2026 will be broadcast live on STV in Sweden and TVP Sport in Poland, while international viewers can watch the race live worldwide via FloTrack.
Start Times
The marathon will start in three waves at 12:00, 12:08, and 12:16 local time on Lidingövägen outside the iconic Stockholm Olympic Stadium, where runners will also finish inside the historic stadium. Elite athletes will start in Wave 1 alongside seeded runners.
The 42.195 km course has been slightly updated for 2026 and is described by organizers as “slightly flatter” while maintaining the classic tour through Stockholm’s seven districts. Runners will pass famous landmarks including Gamla Stan, Djurgården, Strandvägen, Slussen, Västerbron bridge, and the waterfront sections around the Swedish capital.
