Thousands of runners will take to the streets of Barcelona on Sunday, May 10, for the 2026 edition of La Cursa de El Corte Ingles 2026, one of Europe’s most iconic mass-participation road races. The 10-kilometer event, now in its 46th edition, is expected to attract up to 50,000 participants after organizers expanded the field due to overwhelming demand.

Fans can watch the race live on Catalunya’s sports channel CAT 3 Esports, with coverage beginning at 8:45 a.m. Central European Time (GMT +1).
The race will start at 9:00 a.m. on Avenida Diagonal in front of El Corte Inglés and finish at Plaça Catalunya following a scenic urban route through some of Barcelona’s best-known streets and landmarks. Among the highlights of the course are Passeig de Gràcia, Gran Via, Arc de Triomf, and Passeig de Sant Joan, which has been added to improve the flow in the closing stages of the race.
