The LIDL São Silvestre de Lisboa 2025 will take place on Saturday, 27 December, bringing another night of fast racing and festive atmosphere to the Portuguese capital. The traditional 10km road race will start at 21:30 local time, with both the start and finish on Avenida da Liberdade.

This year’s edition has already set a new benchmark, with 15,000 runners registered, confirming the event’s status as one of Europe’s most popular end-of-year road races. Organized by HMS Sports in cooperation with the Lisbon City Council, the race combines elite-level competition with mass participation in a vibrant city-centre setting.

The course will once again host top Portuguese athletes alongside international runners, with additional excitement provided by the “Champions of the Last Kilometer” challenge, rewarding the fastest final 1,000 meters.
