The 2025 Gold Coast Marathon lights up Queensland’s coastline this weekend, July 5–6, drawing over 25,000 participants from around the world. Held at Broadwater Parklands in Southport, the event is one of the premier road running festivals in the Southern Hemisphere, featuring eight races across two action-packed days.
Saturday’s program includes the 2km and 4km Junior Dash, 5km Fun Run, 10km Run, and the China Airlines Half Marathon, which also doubles as the Australian Half Marathon Championships. On Sunday, all eyes turn to the ASICS Gold Coast Marathon, a World Athletics Label Road Race known for its flat, fast, and scenic course—ideal for personal bests. Marathon officially starts at 6:15 AM local time.
