Elsewhere on the track, Jamaican Kelsey Spencer clocked 55.71 seconds to win 400m hurdles while USA's Jacquelyn Coward prevailed in the 100m hurdles (12.96 sec). Courtney Okolo of the United States took the women's one lap race with a time of 51.06 seconds.
