Usain Bolt says he is fully recovered from an after ankle injury

 Usain Bolt says he is training at 100% after overcoming a minor ankle injury.

 

The 6-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt has has recovered from a ankle injury that caused him to stop his preparation for Rio Olympics for two weeks in January.

“I feel good in training and I am happy with where things are,” said Bolt in a presentation of the Racers Grand Prix scheduled for June 11.

Bolt in the meeting confirmed his participation at the 1st Racers Grand Prix on June 11. However, Bolt and his coach could not tell with what race world's fastest man will open his 2016 campaign. 

“My coach doesn’t like to rush me into running until he feels comfortable and happy with my progress and everything,” he added.

"He will definitely compete in May, but as to the actual date and time I am not able to say as there are a number of options still available.” coach Glenn Mills told Jamaica Observer on Wednesday.
