Poland's Bukowiecki Sets World Junior Record in Shot Put

Poland's latest shot put talent, Konrad Bukowiecki, set a new world junior record of 22.38m in shot put during the indoor meeting in Torun on Saturday (24).

Bukowiecki bettered Germany's David Storl's world indoor junior record by 3cm.  .

The 17 year old Bukowiecki is the world junior champion from Eugene last year. He will still be eligible to compete as a junior for two more years.
