• Kipyegon Defends World Junior XC Title

In the temperatures near -8 C,  Faith Kipyegon of Kenya took the win at the world Junior women's 6km race. Kipyegon finished after 17:50 min and managed to defenf her   World Junior Cross Country title from last year. 

Overall, Kenya and Ethiopia swept top 12 positions in the race. Emelia Gorecka of GBR is first non African finisher by placing in 16th place.

In the team scoring, standings Kenyan  XC team took gold with 14 points, Ethiopia took silver scoring 23 points, while Great Britain managed to take bronze with 81 points!
