First place in the women's long jump goes to Eliane Martins of Brazil, proves how valuable her vast experience is and with 6,30 meters the 38-year old veteran claims her first Golden Fly Series victory here at Lake Geneva. Close behind, Alina Rotaru-Kottmann (ROM) secures second place with a distance of 6.25 meters. Third place goes to Sarah Leach of France, with a jump of 6.03 meters.
The men's long jump competition was full of talent, but the standout performer of the night was Chenoult Lionel Coetzee from Namibia. He clearly enjoyed his first experience of the Golden Fly Series on the FlySwat and celebrated his victory with an impressive leap of 7.99 metres. Bulgarian 20-year-old talent Bozhidar Saraboyukov secured second place with a jump of 7.96 metres, closely followed by Uzbekistan's Anvar Anvarov in third place with a jump of 7.87 metres.
