Ferdinand Omanyala runs 9.85 to win 100m at Kip Keino Classic

African record holder Ferdinand Omanyala from Kenya sprinted to a new world leading time of 9.85 with a tailwind of +2.0 m/s to win at the Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi. He defeated Olympic silver medallist Fred Kerley, who set the third fastest time in the world this year with 9.92 in his second 100m race of the year.
