Reigning World indoor and European champion Ivana Spanovic of Serbia opened her 2020 season with a solid 6.80m (22-3.75ft) jump in an official meet in Novi Sad on Saturday, June 6. Spanovic missed last year's Doha World championships because of an injury she sustained past September at the ISTAF Berlin, less than a month before the championships started.
