Shotaro Shiroyama Breaks 27-year-old Japansese Long Jump Record with 8.40m

Yuki Hashioka finally broke the Japanese 27-year-old men's long jump, with a leap of 8 meters and 40 centimeters at the Athlete Night Games on Saturday, August 18.

Shiroyama, on his third attempt, soared 8 meters and 40 cm breaking his own personal best by 39cm and previous Japanese by Masaki Morinaga's record by 15cm.
