Fred Kerley produced a new personal best of 43.64 to win the men's 400m at US Championships. He defeated No.5 all-time performer at 43.45 Michael Norman, who finished second to Kerley in 43.79. Kerley lowered his previous PB of 43.70 from 2017 and made him 7th on the world all-time list. Nathan Strother was third in 44.29 and Vernon Norwood fourth in 44.40.
