Norway's Jakob Ingebrigsten set a new World U20 1500m indoor record at the 2019 Nordkampen (an international match between Sweden, Finland, Norway, and a combined team from Denmark and Iceland.). The 18-years-old Ingebrigsten clocked 3:36.21 and beat the old record by Belal Mansoor Ali of Bahrain by .07 seconds.
