Swedens pole vault superstar Armand Duplantis who studies and trains at Louisiana State University (LSU) regained his pole vault World lead with a 5.87m performance on Saturday at the LSU Bayou Invitational on Friday, Feb 1.
Last Saturday in Arkansas Duplantis opened his indoor season with a World leading mark of 5.83m, but his WL lasted only 4 days after Poland's Pawel Lisek on Wednesday cleared 5.85m and then on Thursday American Sam Kendricks in Berlin improved WL mark to 5.86m.
Duplantis mark is also a new School record and #2 all time in NCAA and 1cm shy of his indoor personal best.
