Alison dos Santos broke Karsten Warholm’s men’s 400m hurdles world record with a sensational 45.80, before Olympic champion Masai Russell delivered the meeting’s second world record by clocking 12.09 in the women’s 100m hurdles.
The record-filled evening also featured Armand “Mondo” Duplantis clearing 6.25m to defeat Emmanouil Karalis, who set a Greek record of 6.20m. Audrey Werro won the women’s 800m in a world-leading 1:53.70, while Kenny Bednarek and Emmanuel Wanyonyi produced world leads in the men’s 200m and 800m. Other winners included Julien Alfred, Nicola Olyslagers, Miltiadis Tentoglou, Cole Hocker and Faith Cherotich.
