The Mavericks are extremely shorthanded. All-Star guard Kyrie Irving is out with a left knee injury (ACL sprain/tear), and recently acquired forward Anthony Davis is out with a left adductor strain. Also sidelined for Dallas are Daniel Gafford (knee sprain), Jaden Hardy (ankle sprain), Dereck Lively II (stress fracture), Olivier-Maxence Prosper (wrist sprain) and P.J. Washington (ankle sprain). Guard Dante Exum (foot contusion) and forward Caleb Martin (hip) are questionable.
In contrast, the Suns are relatively healthy – only reserve guard Monte Morris (low back injury) is out, and two-way players Jalen Bridges and Cody Martin are in the G League. Phoenix’s stars are all available.
