The 2025 Zurich Maratón de Sevilla is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sunday, February 23 in Seville, Spain. Renowned for its flat and fast course, the event has become a favorite among elite and amateur runners alike. The race is scheduled to start at 8:30 AM Central European Time (GMT +1). Both the starting and finishing lines are located on Paseo de las Delicias, near the Glorieta de Buenos Aires and close to the iconic Plaza de España.

Elite Athlete Participation: Ethiopian runner Selemon Barega, the 10,000m gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, is slated to make his marathon debut in Seville. Barega's participation adds significant prestige to this milestone edition.
