The Great Chepsaita Cross Country Run is an annual cross-country event held in Chepsaita, Eldoret, Kenya. Established in 2023, it has quickly gained prominence in the athletics community. The inaugural race took place on December 2, 2023, with Ishmael Rokitto Kipkurui winning the men's 8 km race in 23:17, and Edinah Jebitok securing the women's 8 km title in 26:17.
The second edition is scheduled for December 7, 2024, at Chepsaita Secondary School in Uasin Gishu County. This year's event has been elevated to a World Athletics Cross Country Tour Gold status, reflecting its growing significance.
