The 46th Course de l'Escalade is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Geneva's Old Town. This festive and popular road race is one of Switzerland's largest running events, attracting over 46,000 participants in 2023.

The event offers various race categories to accommodate different age groups and skill levels:

• Blocs d'allure: Standard races covering 2 or 3 laps, approximately 4.8 km and 7.3 km, respectively.
• Juniors and Juniores: Races for younger athletes, with distances tailored to age groups.
• Course de la Marmite: A fun run where participants often dress in costumes, covering about 3.6 km.
• Walking: A non-competitive walking event spanning approximately 8.96 km.
• Escaladélite: Competitive races for elite runners, covering 7.3 km.
• FlexiMix: Flexible races allowing participants to choose between 1, 2, or 3 laps.
• Course Relais: A relay race with teams of two participants, each running four laps of about 1.9 km
