The competition for the men's 100m will feature European 60m indoor champion Samuele Ceccarelli this year. Men's shot put will be highlighted by Florence Golden Gala winner Leonardo Fabbri and European Indoor champion Zane Weir. Rising middle distance star Nadia Battocletti is entered in the 5000m. Olympic champion Massimo Stano, and Francesco Fortunato will clash in the men's walk. Diamond League champion Andy Diaz, 2021 NCAA champion Emmanuel Ihemeje and Tobia Bocchi will compete in the men's triple jump. European Under 18 champion Mattia Furlani is in the men's long jump. Italian record holder Ayomide Folorunso in the women's 400 metres hurdles.
