The 2026 TCS Lidingöloppet brings three days of racing to Lidingö, Sweden, from September 25–27, with the classic 30 km cross-country race taking centre stage on Saturday. Starting at Koltorp at 12:30 p.m. local time, the sold-out race will send 18,000 runners over a hilly course to the finish at Grönsta Gärde. Defending men’s champion William Nyarondia Morwabe returns, while Sylvia Medugu Kiberenge will seek a record fifth victory in the women’s 30 km race.
The entire event will be streamed live and free worldwide on YouTube. Additionally, Swedish broadcaster TV4 will cover Saturday’s 30 km race on TV12 and TV4 Play Plus from 12:00–3:00 p.m. CEST (6:00–9:00 a.m. EDT).

The highlight of the weekend is the legendary 30 km race on Saturday, 26 September, from 12:30 to 15:30 CEST.
Women: Four-time 30 km winner Sylvia Medugu Kiberenge could become the first athlete to win the distance five times. She faces Evelina Henriksson, third in both 2024 and 2025, and Emma Eriksson, fourth last year. Carolina Johnson, who set a women’s course record of 1:49:19 in 2025, is cited by organizers for her course advice but is not listed among their announced 2026 favorites.
Men: Defending winner William Nyarondia Morwabe returns after winning in 1:37:14 last year. Other highlighted contenders are Olle Kalered, David Nilsson and Archie Casteel.
