The 54th edition of the Mastercard New York Mini 10K returns to Central Park on Saturday, June 6, bringing together more than 10,500 runners and one of the strongest women's road racing fields of the season. Recognized as the world's original women-only road race, the event will feature defending champion Hellen Obiri, New York City Marathon winner Sharon Lokedi, and a host of Olympic and World Championship stars competing over the historic 10-kilometer course. With a legacy dating back to 1972 and a world-class elite field, the New York Mini 10K continues to stand as one of the premier celebrations of women's running worldwide.
The event will be broadcast live for free worldwide on YouTube, with the live coverage starting at 8:00 AM US Eastern Time (GMT -4).
The 2026 race features one of the strongest women's road-racing fields of the year, including Olympic and World Championship medalists, national record holders, and major marathon champions from around the globe. The professional field includes athletes representing 10 countries, with 10 Olympians and Paralympians among the entrants.
Founded in 1972, the New York Mini 10K is recognized as the world's first women-only road race.
