Canada's top track and field athletes will take center stage at the 2026 Edmonton Athletics Invitational on Sunday, July 12, as Foote Field at the University of Alberta hosts a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meeting. Olympic medallists, world champions and emerging talents are set to compete across an exciting afternoon of track and field action, with valuable world ranking points and qualifying performances on the line. Headlined by Olympic 800m silver medallist Marco Arop, world shot put champion Sarah Mitton and Paralympian Amanda Rummery, the meet promises high-quality competition as athletes continue their preparations for the second half of the outdoor season.
