The AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run 2026 returns on Sunday, May 3, bringing one of the United Kingdom’s largest and most vibrant road racing events back to the streets of Birmingham. Part of the renowned Great Run Series, the event will once again attract tens of thousands of participants across its flagship half marathon and 10K races, alongside a full weekend program of junior events.

Starting in the heart of the city at Centenary Square and finishing near Aston University, the course offers a scenic tour through Birmingham’s key landmarks, lined with enthusiastic crowds and live entertainment. Organizers have introduced a refreshed finish layout for 2026, designed to enhance both the runner experience and spectator atmosphere in the city centre.
