The 2026 Hurricane Invitational will take place on March 20–21 at the Cobb Track & Field Facility in Coral Gables, Florida, as the University of Miami hosts one of the key early-season meets on the U.S. collegiate outdoor calendar.
The two-day competition will bring together a strong mix of NCAA programs and open athletes, offering an important opportunity to post early qualifying marks and build momentum at the start of the outdoor season. Listed on the World Athletics global calendar, the meet continues to grow in stature as a competitive stepping stone toward conference championships and national-level meets later in the spring.
Action begins on Friday with select field events and an evening track session that includes the 300m and 3000m races. Saturday serves as the main competition day, featuring a full slate of events across sprints, middle-distance and distance races, hurdles, relays, and field disciplines. Athletes will contest races from the 100m through 1500m, along with 400m hurdles and relay events, while the field program includes the long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, and throws.
