The 2026 Goldenes Oval will take place on Sunday, May 31, at the Heinz-Steyer-Stadion in Dresden, Germany, bringing together many of the sport’s top athletes for a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meeting. The event continues to grow in stature and is expected to attract a near-capacity crowd at one of Germany’s premier athletics venues.

How to Watch

The event will be broadcast live for free worldwide on the European Athletics website, while in Germany the meeting will be streamed live on ZDF. In Poland the meet will be broacast live on TVP Sports. The live coverage is scheduled to start at 15:10 Central European Time (GMT +2).

Among the headline stars confirmed for the meeting are Olympic long jump champion Malaika Mihambo, Olympic shot put champion Yemisi Ogunleye, European sprint star Gina Lückenkemper, and world-class discus thrower Matthew Denny. Local favorite Steven Richter is also set to compete, setting up an exciting discus clash in front of the home fans.
