Thousands of runners are set to take over the streets of Boulder as the 2026 BOLDERBoulder 10K returns on Monday, May 25, continuing one of the most iconic traditions in American road running. Now in its 46th edition, the Memorial Day event is expected to attract more than 50,000 participants, combining elite competition with a festival atmosphere that has made BOLDERBoulder one of the world’s largest and most celebrated 10-kilometer races.
Starting near downtown Boulder and finishing inside the legendary Folsom Field, runners will experience a course lined with live entertainment, enthusiastic crowds, and the challenge of racing at altitude — more than 1,600 meters above sea level. Beyond the competition itself, the event remains known for its moving Memorial Day Tribute held inside the stadium following the finish, honoring the holiday’s meaning while bringing together athletes, families, and spectators in one of road running’s most unique race-day experiences.
The event will be broadcast live worldwide on YouTube and locally on Denver 7. The live coverage is scheduled to start at 6:30 AM Mountain Daylight Time (GMT -6).
