The 2026 Stramilano Half Marathon is set to take place on Sunday, May 3, bringing elite road racing back to the streets of Milan as part of one of Italy’s most historic running events. The half marathon, the competitive centerpiece of the long-standing Stramilano festival, will cover the classic 21.097 km distance and is expected to attract more than 10,000 registered runners after selling out once again.

The race will start at 8:30 a.m. from Piazza Castello, with athletes running through the heart of Milan before finishing at the same iconic location beneath the Sforza Castle. The event serves as the opening act of the broader Stramilano program, which also includes 10 km and 5 km mass-participation races later in the morning, drawing tens of thousands of runners and spectators across the city.
