Starting and finishing in the iconic Old Town Square, the 42.195 km course offers a unique blend of speed and scenery. Athletes will cross the Vltava River multiple times and pass some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks, including historic boulevards and bridges, creating one of the most visually striking marathon routes in Europe. Despite a few technical sections and cobblestones, the course is widely regarded as fast and capable of producing strong performances.
Organized by RunCzech, the event delivers a world-class race experience, with full road closures, extensive aid stations, medical support, and professional timing. The race begins at 8:00 local time, with elite finishers expected shortly after the two-hour mark, while participants have up to seven hours to complete the course.
