Generali Berlin Half Marathon 2026 returns on Sunday, March 29, bringing together more than 40,000 runners for one of the world’s premier road races and a key stop on the SuperHalfs series.
Set in the heart of Berlin, the race will once again start and finish along Straße des 17. Juni, with runners passing iconic landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, Tiergarten, and Kurfürstendamm on a flat, fast course renowned for personal best performances.

Among the headline storylines, Germany’s Amanal Petros is expected to lead the domestic charge, targeting a performance close to the one-hour barrier as he looks to challenge his national record.
Race day will begin with inline skaters and wheelchair athletes before the elite and mass fields take to the streets in wave starts from 10:05 local time. The event is also supported by a vibrant race weekend program, including the Berlin Mile on Saturday and a large-scale expo at Tempelhof Airport.
