The Movistar Madrid Half Marathon 2026 will take place on Sunday, March 22, bringing tens of thousands of runners to the heart of Madrid for one of the country’s most popular and vibrant road races.
The race is set to start at 9:15 AM from the Paseo de Recoletos area, with elite and wheelchair athletes getting underway slightly earlier. Covering the classic half marathon distance of 21.1 kilometers, the course winds through many of Madrid’s most iconic avenues and landmarks, including Paseo de la Castellana, Gran Vía, Puerta del Sol, and the Cibeles district, before returning to the central finish zone.
