The 21.0975 km course offers participants a scenic tour of eastern Paris. The race starts near Boulevard Saint-Germain and guides runners along sections of the Seine riverbanks, passing notable landmarks including the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and the Château de Vincennes, before finishing at the iconic Place de la Bastille.
With a mostly flat layout and only moderate elevation changes, the course is considered favorable for fast performances and personal bests. The event is also known for its vibrant atmosphere, as thousands of spectators line the streets to support runners throughout the French capital.
