The 2026 RomaOstia Half Marathon (Mezza Maratona RomaOstia) will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, once again linking Rome’s historic capital with the Tyrrhenian coast. First held in 1974, the race remains Italy’s most prestigious and popular half marathon, drawing thousands of runners from across Europe and beyond.

The event will be streamed live and free on the event organizer's YouTube channel. The live coverage is expected to start at 8:30 AM Central European Time.
The 21.0975 km course begins in Rome’s EUR district and follows the long, straight stretch of Via Cristoforo Colombo toward Ostia, finishing near the seaside. Known for its relatively flat and fast profile, the RomaOstia has traditionally produced strong elite performances while offering recreational runners a scenic point-to-point experience.
