The 2026 Italian Athletics Indoor Championships (Campionati Italiani Assoluti Indoor) return to Ancona’s PalaCasali from February 27 to March 1, bringing together the nation’s top athletes for three days of elite competition and 28 national titles.

Organized by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera (FIDAL), the championships feature 381 athletes from 106 clubs, highlighting the depth of Italian track and field during the indoor season. The meet serves as a key stepping stone toward World Athletics Indoor Championships, with many of Italy’s brightest stars confirmed on the entry lists.

Among the headline names are Olympic and world medal contenders such as Leonardo Fabbri in the shot put, Antonella Palmisano in the race walk, Andrea Dallavalle in the triple jump, European indoor champion Zaynab Dosso in the 60 meters, and long jump standout Larissa Iapichino. The championships are expected to deliver high-level performances across sprints, middle distance, hurdles, jumps, throws, relays, and combined events.
