The 2026 English National Cross Country Championships is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 21 February 2026, at East Hardwick Park in Sedgefield, County Durham, marking a long-awaited return of the historic event to the North East.
Organised by the English Cross Country Association, the championships will feature a full day of racing across all age groups, from Under-13 to senior level, with thousands of athletes representing clubs from across England.

The event builds throughout the afternoon toward the highly anticipated senior races, traditionally the most competitive and dramatic contests of the day. The senior men’s 12.4K championship will close proceedings at 15:00.
