The 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Invitational gets underway on January 23–24 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico, marking one of the first major collegiate indoor track and field meets of the new season. Hosted by the University of New Mexico, the two-day competition traditionally attracts deep and competitive fields thanks to Albuquerque’s fast indoor track and altitude-aided conditions.
