One of Spain’s oldest and most cherished cross-country races is set to headline the winter calendar once again as the Gran Premio Cáceres de la Diputación de Cáceres takes place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Aceituna, on the natural trails of El Robledal.

Now in its 55th edition, the historic meet continues to combine grassroots participation with high-level competition. Organizers expect more than 700 athletes across all age groups, from youth races to the featured senior contests, underlining the event’s strong regional and national pull

How to Watch

The meeting will be streamed live for free on YouTube, with the live coverage starting at 11:15 local time (GMT +1).

The main program centers on approximately 9 km cross-country races for elite men and women, run over a classic parkland course of grass, dirt paths, and rolling terrain—conditions that traditionally reward strength and tactical awareness. The event remains part of the World Athletics Cross Country Tour (Silver level), helping attract some of Spain’s top endurance runners alongside international challengers.
